Study the Effect of Face Sheets Material on Strength of Sandwich Plates with Circular Hole

This study aims to investigate the effect of changing skins material on strength sandwich plates with circular hole when subjected mechanical loads. Theoretical, numerical and experimental analyses are done for two face sheet materials. Theoretical analysis is performed by using plate theory which depends first order shear deformation tension bending separately. Finite element method was used analyse numerically all cases ANSYS program.
 The were investigated experimentally under buckling load relationship between stresses ratio diameter width (d/b) built, studying size plates. maximum stress developed at region in clarified dropped their strength. So, found means multiplying nominal obtained from Stress-strain curve concentration factor.
